The period since my last newsletter has been another busy one with training and mentoring dominating my activities.
New Money Laundering Regulations became operative on the June 26th and mean that agents need to get up to speed with new rules and procedures PDQ!
I ran four sold out courses in London in May and June which were attended by 138 delegates and I have also run programmes for a number of individual companies.

Alongside formal training, I undertake a lot of mentoring with business owners, managers and team leaders and have several clients where I run monthly sessions with small groups or individuals, helping them to manage and lead their teams for maximum success.
I have been working with a number of long standing clients on a regular monthly basis, helping them maximise revenues, reduce costs and increase profitability through detailed reviews of their day to day activities and actions and following up with well manged and appropriate action.
I continue to provide content for a number of agent’s websites, social media and newsletters and have completed content for three company brochures – sales and lettings.
Following a period of negotiation I was delighted to complete the sale of chartered surveying practice Finnegan Associates to Earl Kendrick Associates. This transaction resulted in a win, win scenario for both practices.
I am currently working on two other potential disposals and acquisitions.
Away from direct fee earning, I attended the excellent My Home Move conference at the Belfry in May and also the Property Press Awards (I was a judge) in London. I also completed the judging for Law Firms Services’ conveyancing awards which will be awarded in September following their conference at the NEC in Birmingham.
I have had a number of articles published in the trade press this year – DealMakerz, Estate Agent Networking, Property Industry Eye, The Negotiator, Growth News - these are available to read on the Integra website and the latest ones form part of the content of this Communique newsletter.
