Integra Property Services and Gothard Rowe launch new landlord event service

Highly experienced property industry experts – Michael Day of Integra Property Services and Julie Ford of Gothard Rowe – have combined resources to offer a new service for agents looking to both retain and grow their lettings portfolios.

Michael Day said: “I was having a discussion with Julie about the current state of the private rental sector and the concerns that are seeing many landlords exiting the market. Without exception our agent clients were all looking at ways to improve retention and create growth in their lettings businesses.

It has been well proven that one of the most productive ways of building a lettings business and managed portfolio is to hold regular events aimed at landlords.

Holding events for landlords creates opportunities to demonstrate expertise through providing information that engages with the target audience of landlords and investors and builds confidence and trust in the agency business. Such events also help build positive relationships with landlords and investors and therefore win more business and sell additional services. The “value add” that they provide, also helps increase fees and improve profitability.

Of course, most letting and managing agents already know this but the majority never actually take the action needed to run an event.

The reasons may be many and various but our research of over 1500 clients showed that a perceived lack of time coupled with not having a plan and concerns over creating or having access to relevant content was often holding them back.”

Michael and Julie believe they now have the solution in the Landlords Event in a Box.

Julie said : “For a single flat fee, we will provide a detailed action plan and Gantt Chart including “cut and paste” templates for invites, marketing, follow up etc and, crucially, access to a current library of over thirty regularly updated, legislatively correct, white labelled presentations and presenter notes that agents can choose from to create the perfect Landlord Event.

Additional presentations and presenter notes for future events can subsequently be chosen.

We are confident that having run their first event, agents will want to run them regularly and to work with us to do so.”

The Landlords Event in a Box aims to take the hard work and “heavy lifting” out of the things that agents often find challenging and that currently stops them from proceeding in order that they can concentrate on the business development opportunities that exist.
