Residential Valuations

Managing Director Michael Day is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and is a Registered Valuer.

Michael personally carries out residential valuations for probate, matrimonial, asset and portfolio purposes.

The RICS Valuer Registration Scheme is a register of those qualified valuers who are active in their field and who undertake ‘Red Book’ Valuations. The ‘Red Book’ is the standard set out for valuers to follow and ensures that Clients of a Chartered Surveyor will receive valuation advice of the highest standard, and that standard is adopted by Chartered Surveyors throughout the World.

Instructing an RICS Registered Valuer is your safeguard that they will be knowledgeable, experienced, thorough, professional and display the highest standards of competence and integrity within their specialist field.

Probate

We can provide a valuation report where there is a deceased estate and where the property needs to be valued. This may be in order to determine the amount of equity that can be transferred to any beneficiaries.

Matrimonial

We can provide a valuation report if there are divorce proceedings and a need to determine the value of a marital home in order that that value can be split between the parties. A valuation may also be required in Civil Partnership or other relationship situations.

Asset & Portfolio

We can provide a valuation report if there is a need to know the value of residential property or properties for accounting purposes.
