Michael Day joins teclet parent company Glanty as a Non-Executive Director

Highly experienced property man Michael Day of Integra Property Services has accepted an invitation to join the Board of Glanty, the parent company of teclet, the unique lettings portal that is changing the way in which agents run and manage their lettings portfolios.

Michael, who has been in the industry for 43 years (he says he started when he was three!) is a Fellow of RICS, NAEA and ARLA and holds a Masters degree in business from Reading University. His multi award winning business, Integra Property Services, has around 700 property industry clients.

Alan Blockley, CEO of Glanty said: “We are delighted to welcome Michael to the Board. Michael has successfully worked with us at teclet for the last year and it was the unanimous decision of our Board to bring him “into the fold” and to be able to benefit even more closely from his vast experience and knowledge of the industry, its people and business in general. We look forward to a long and successful future together.”

teclet is an online portal platform that enables agents to automate as much or as little of the lettings and management process as they wish and enables them to retain their existing supplier relationships and arrangements. The platform provides 24/7 access to the agent, the landlord and the tenant and greatly improves productivity and performance as well as saving money and providing new opportunities for additional revenue streams. With the tenant fee ban looming, agents clearly need to innovate and change to ensure their future success and the teclet platform enables that to happen as well as managing everything in a fully compliant fashion.

Michael Day said: “I am delighted to be joining Glanty as a Non Exec Director having worked with the teclet team over the last year or so in a supplier/client relationship. I am immensely impressed by the teclet offering which I strongly urge letting agents to take a look at.

My business, Integra Property Services works with hundreds of sales and lettings agents and shall continue to do so. We are seeing challenging times at the moment and agents need to re-plan and reorganise their businesses to mitigate or remove threats whilst also maximising the opportunities that exist. teclet could well be an integral part of a successful future for many.”
