Computers for Schools Campaign

Integra Property Services Managing Director Michael Day was delighted to visit Chalfont St Peter Church of England Academy having arranged for them to be the recipients of a new laptop computer delivered as part of a campaign to provide laptops and tablets to schools to help disadvantaged children with their education.

The laptop was the 700th device delivered across the UK as part of the Computers for Schools campaign that was started by property industry stalwart, Stephen Brown, and which has now raised in excess of £70,000.

Integra Property Services is a supporter of the campaign and from our donations and that of the ISVA Past Presidents Club, of which Michael Day is a member, the laptop was handed over to Mrs Sally Valentine, Assistant Headteacher and SENDCo (Special educational needs and disabilities co-ordinator) at the school and will be used to assist dyslexic children with their learning.

Michael Day has been friends with Stephen for some time and they share a passion for helping others. Tragically, Stephen’s wife Sam passed away recently and he set up this wonderful campaign in her memory. Michael is delighted both personally and as a member of the ISVA Past Presidents Club, to donate and support the campaign.

Mrs Valentine said: “We are delighted to receive the generous gift of this new laptop computer. It will be put to good use, specifically  in helping dyslexic children at the school with their education. Thank you”
