Integra Activity

As always, I don’t believe in letting the grass grow under my feet and waiting for things to happen, I actively set out to make things happen.

The last few weeks have seen the launch of my Lettings Event product, a joint venture with Julie Ford of Gothard Rowe that makes it easy for agents to hold events aimed at landlords and investors. Running these events is one of the best ways for an agent to both secure existing but also win new business and, with a myriad of legislative and economic changes currently in the offing, there has never been a better time to organise.

The Lettings Event product provides all the necessary plan, documentation etc for a successful event.

I have, once again, been on the conference circuit and have been presenting at a number of regional Propertymark conferences. My Ten Ps of Business Success presentation has been extremely well received and has, hopefully, provided delegates with much food for thought on how they run their businesses. In 2024 I have spoken in Essex, Birmingham Kent, Sussex and have one more to go, in Surrey, on November 21st

The conferences also provide a great opportunity to further spread the word about the work of the Propertymark Trust where I am a Director and Trustee.

Whilst the summer period was a little quiet, the autumn period has been busy with a record number of training courses being delivered both on an open basis and also as bespoke sessions for individual businesses.

I run courses on both a virtual and physical face to face basis and I am delighted to confirm that I have also been retained by Propertymark to deliver a number of programmes for them in 2025.

Details of all courses and how to book can be found here:

Wearing my compliance hat I have recently undertaken a number of branch audits for clients where I look at their terms of business, consumer protection and material information, money laundering and other compliance requirements.

As we are in the last quarter of the year, 2025 has really already started and I am working with clients on their business plans – with so many changes affecting the property sector, having a clear set of objectives and actions to deliver is key as it provides a framework for success that can be kept under review and monitored against to ensure delivery.

Finally, I was honoured to be asked, again, to be a judge for the Negotiator Awards and I thoroughly enjoyed working through over 40 entries in the categories I was asked to judge. The winners will be announced at the awards night at the Grosvenor House in London on November 29th.

I also entered Integra Property Services in the Professional Support category and, for the ninth year in succession have been shortlisted as a finalist.

Last year I was honoured to be the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award, a wonderful surprise and one of the proudest moments in my 49 year career!

November will also see the announcement of the EA Masters Supplier of the Year. There are over 625 suppliers reviewed and I have been rated as Exceptional every year since the inception in 2018 and won Bronze Awards in 2018, 2019 and 2023 – fingers crossed that this standard is recognised as having been maintained again this year.
