Michael Day crossing the bridges for Diabetes UK

As many will know, Michael Day completed the Diabetes UK One Million Step Challenge (circa 500 miles) in both 2023 and 2024 together with the London Bridges Wellness Walk in both years.

In 2025 Michael is not going to tackle the One Million Step Challenge but is, once again, going to take on the London Bridges Wellness Walk on September 28th.

The London Bridges Wellness Walk is ten miles long starting at Battersea Park and crossing many iconic London Bridges before finishing in the shadow of Tower Bridge.

Michael has raised over £6000 For Diabetes UK in the last two years; money that goes towards research and support for those with Diabetes.

Michael himself has had type one diabetes for around 35 years and it was undoubtedly a contributory factor in him requiring a triple heart by-pass in 2021.

As in previous years, Michael will be joined on the walk by his daughter Carrie.
