Home Information Packs (HIPs)

A HIP is required before any residential property can be marketed for sale.

A HIP comprises an index, sale statement, standard searches, property information questionnaire, evidence of title and an energy performance certificate. In the case of leasehold property, a copy of the lease is also required.

Integra Property Services have been producing HIPs since their inception and are able to deliver Packs in industry leading time frames to ensure you are able to market your property without delay.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and Domestic Energy Assessment

A mandatory part of a HIP is the Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which provides information on the energy efficiency, heating costs and carbon emissions of the property.

It is also mandatory that all new residential tenancies have an EPC produced and provided to the tenant.

All EPCs must be produced by qualified and accredited (licensed) Domestic Energy Assessors. Integra Property Services directly employ their own Domestic Energy Assessors and are able to carry out the inspections and reports needed to provide Energy Performance Certificates, either for inclusion within a HIP or as a stand alone document. Inspections are usually carried out and certificates produced within two days (subject to access).
