Community

Since my last e-newsletter, Feast of St Peter have run another highly successful Feast Day event in the village with thousands of people enjoying a day of great family entertainment and with the 100 plus stalls doing great business. As usual, profits will go to local good causes and our sponsors and supporters night is planned for October. Since starting Feast of St Peter in 2009 we have raised and distributed around £75,000 to local good causes as well as provide several fabulous community events.

As reported in my last e-newsletter, I am slowly cutting down on the level of my involvement in the local community and concentrating my time and energies more on my business and personal interests.

I am however, for the last time, involved in running the Christmas Fun Night in Chalfont St Peter.

This event sees us close the road in the centre of the village and have a late night shopping evening with a variety of stalls, seasonal entertainment and a kiddies funfair in place. We usually attract a crowd in excess of 5,000 people and any profits from the evening go to local good causes as part of the Feast of St Peter organisations work locally.

This year the Christmas Fun Night is on Friday 2nd December and further information can be found at our website www.feastofstpeter.org.uk
